American Idol Season 5 runner-up Katharine McPhee, 31, is now officially divorced from her husband, Nick Cokas. The divorce was finalized on February 8. McPhee and Cokas tied the knot in 2008 and have no children together. McPhee filed for divorce in 2014, and she stated in the court documents that they actually separated in March 2013.
Cokas is keeping their 2013 Jeep Wrangler, while McPhee retains the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SUV. Aside from all their assets being divided, Cokas was granted spousal support and will receive $400,000 each year depending on McPhee’s income. He will also be keeping half of McPhee’s earnings from her $700,000 deal with Columbia/Epic Records and songs she made during their marriage. In the coming days, McPhee is set to pay approximately $103,000 to Cokas.
