Rapper turns himself in to the police on charges of battery

Court statements obtained by the celebrity news website TMZ stated that hip hop artist Young Jeezy has been arrested over domestic violence charges, Huffington Post revealed in its online report Tuesday, January 7.

Young Jeezy, 36, surrendered himself to authorities on January 3 following a domestic violence warrant issued against him by a grand jury. TMZ obtained an incident report stating that the rapper has been accused of allegedly physically assaulting his son after bashing him into a shower door.

The rapper paid a bail bond of $45,000 for his release.
