It was confirmed by the New York Daily News on December 20 that the famous country music singer and actress Reba McEntire, 60, has officially divorced her husband of 26 years, 59-year-old Narvel Blackstock. The two tied the knot back in 1989 and have a son, Shelby Blackstock, who is 25 years old.
McEntire announced on her Facebook account that she was granted the divorce on October 28. The news of her separation from Blackstock was initially released in August, although the news that the divorce had been finalized was not confirmed until recently.
Blackstock has worked as McEntire’s manager for 35 years, and the couple’s representative released a joint statement saying that the two will still continue working together despite the end of their marriage.
