Former New York governor Eliot Spitzer’s ex-wife, Silda Wall Spitzer, will receive $240,000 every year for life and their Fifth Avenue home following a divorce settlement between the two, the New York Daily News reports.

Additionally, the settlement also requires Mr. Spitzer to provide Silda a new car every five years, money for entertainment and activities expenses, $100,000 for her charities, and a $7.5 million payout.

In 2008, the former New York governor had been involved in a sex scandal that brought his political career to an end. The couple decided to end their 26 years of marriage by filing for divorce in January.
