Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle is now divorced. Court records show that the divorce was finalized on Nov. 16 by a judge in Boone County. This comes just days after Fogle was sentenced to 15 years in a federal prison in Englewood.
Fogle’s now ex-wife Kathleen McLaughlin filed for divorce on Aug. 19, immediately following news that Fogle agreed to plead guilty for several counts of distribution and receipt of child pornography and paying for sex with underage girls.
Fogle rose to fame back in 1999 after eating only Subway products to lose weight, and he eventually became a spokesperson for the esteemed company. He and McLaughlin were married in 2010 and had two children together.
The divorce documents include a filing by McLaughlin contesting Fogle’s request to spend time with his children. McLaughlin and her children have since moved to a different state to avoid the attention caused by the scandal.

After 24 years of marriage, Rowan Atkinson and his wife Sunetra have agreed to file for a divorce. London’s Central Family Court district judge has granted a decree nisi to the couple. Rowan Atkinson was not present for the proceedings.
The two reportedly separated in 2014, and Sunetra cited “unreasonable behavior” on the part of the actor and comedian. Rowan and Sunetra married in 1990 and have two children together. They were reportedly building a new home when they separated. The couple has since lived in their separate homes in London.
Rowan is now with actress Louise Ford, and the two have allegedly been together for about 18 months.
The divorce will not be final until either party files for a decree absolute. Typically, one may file for a decree absolute six weeks from the grant of decree nisi. A decree absolute is the document that finally ends a marriage in the UK.

Nicholas Brendon, 44-year-old “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star, was arrested in Saratoga Springs on September 30th after an alleged dispute with his girlfriend resulted in charges of domestic violence.
Lieutenant Bob Gillson stated that they received a call from a local hotel around 11:00 p.m. and responded to a scene where a 33-year-old woman was alone in one of the rooms. She was reported to have been returning Brendon’s personal belongings after a break-up. Brendon was found a few blocks from the hotel.
